How disappointing to see that the rules were changed after Ahmed Khawaja of Harlow Cricket Club had passed the 500 run target.

How dare someone from an unfashionable lower division club beat the star players from the Premier and 1st Division!!

When the completion started there was no mention of overseas players, overseas exempt players or contracted players being ineligable.

I wonder if this would have happened if the winner had come from the Premier division rather than the lowly 2nd Division

khwaja is a top player but if i remember right the rules of overseas players, overseas exempt players or contracted players being ineligable was there from the start of the competition

Seems harsh that he was included in the table for the first few weeks and then removed.

Would have been nice to have seen a little known player who was just having a great season win the prize rather than one of the same old faces but the competition has got a few people talking so that's got to be a good thing.
